Dental Radiology
The clinic is equipped with modern and technologically advanced equipment.
We conduct diagnostic radiology, but with digital methods. This type of x-ray uses a digital sensor instead of the common film. This sensor is vastly more sensitive than X-ray film, then you get the same result with an exposure to X-rays of less than 80% . This increases the safety for all patients, but it is particularly advantageous in the case of pregnant women and children. This technique uses “phosphor film” and so you get superb picture quality ,and very quickly, by scanning the X-ray with a computer.
In addition there are environmental benefits because we do not use liquid fixer, that is very toxic.
We make the following exams:
- Orthopantomography
- Teleradiography (anteroposterior )
- Teleradiography (latero-lateral)
- Temporo mandibular joint X-ray
- Stratigraphy
- Sinuses X-ray
- Intraoral radiographs
- X-ray computed tomography (CT)
This allows us to not have to send the patient to external structures, with a considerable saving of time and with the advantage of immediately store the images of his medical exams in the computer, viewable on the network throughout the dental clinic. All equipment is carefully and regularly checked by a specialist engineer, attesting the efficacy and safety.
3D Dental Radiology
The Dental Clinic is equipped for three-dimensional (3D) X-ray, which is useful in planning implant surgery and in anatomical study of the maxillary, for complex orthodontic therapy.
